Clay Sculpture Workshop: The Human Head

During the first class, you will build the basic shape of the head and neck and learn about facial proportions. The second class will focus on creating the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and other facial features. During the final class, you will refine the sculpture, add hair, texture, expression, and finishing details, and prepare it for firing. No previous ceramics or sculpture experience is required. All clay, tools, materials, equipment, and firing are included. The workshop is limited to 15 participants (ages 18 and older), allowing everyone to receive demonstrations, individual support, and personalized guidance. Clay can be messy, so please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. Come ready to learn, create, and turn clay into a unique ceramic portrait.
