Just Burn It: A Year End Fire Release Ceremony @Patch of Heaven Sanctuary

"Just Burn It," a powerful and transformative fire ceremony designed to ignite the flames of change. Just Burn It is one of our Signature Series Nature Events that combines the spiritual and ritual of the profound power of the outdoors with human wellbeing. Now in its 4th offering, we kicked it off last year with nearly 100 souls who sought to clear, cleanse and make a space for new growth. As both an Old and New Growth Regenerated Forest, it is very special and sacred for us to open our huge fire pit to honor the Winter Solstice and the ancient ritual of closing the year this way. Fire is an elemental power that shifts everything. It moves life into the phase of death and also creates energy and warmth; when used as a tool of transformation, we can leave behind “the Old” before we even begin to envision the new. Many of us set resolutions without ever “clearing our inner closet” of clutter and the detritus from the year. When we invite you to pause, recollect, write, pray, walk, drum and meditate over what you seek to shed, it will make the necessary room to allow something new to come forth. Come with a friend. Come alone. Just join us around the Patch Fire Pit. Practice an ancient ritual of burning away what needs to be left behind. See you the Saturday evening before New Years…come…Just Burn It What to Expect: "Just Burn It" is more than a simple fire ritual; it's a cathartic experience for mind, body, and soul. Release and Let Go: Begin the evening with reflection & contemplation. Pause, remember and write. As you honor this ceremonial ritual that humans and Nature have danced through for millenia, tonight's opportunity invites a special way to walk in a mindful way. Purification and Cleansing: Fire as one of the four elements of Nature cleanses and purifies. Fire creates a sound to our souls as old as humans themselves. Fire purifies what needs letting go and transforms energy from form into light. What to Bring: 👕 Comfortable clothing suitable for sitting on the ground & walking around ❤️ An open heart and a willingness to embrace change Limited spots available!
