No experience, no scripts, no pressure. A drop-in improv class for total beginners. Come play, laugh, and surprise yourself. Drop-In Improv Class — Short Round Improv Never tried improv? This is the room for you. Nothing to memorize, nothing to prepare, no audition — just show up and play. We start with warm-up games that get everyone laughing before anyone has time to feel self-conscious, then work through the basics: listening, saying "yes, and," and trusting your first idea instead of second-guessing it. We finish with short scenes in a room where nobody fails alone. You don't need to be funny. Funny is a byproduct, not a prerequisite. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, bring water, and come ready to look a little ridiculous in good company. Drop in for one class or make it a habit — each session stands on its own, so you'll never feel behind. From Thursday, Sept. 24th - Sunday, Sept. 27th the SOFLO Loco will include four days and nights of incredible, hilarious improv shows and acting classes from some of the TOP improv actors and teachers in South Florida!!!! An unheard of line up of local talent and fun!!! All classes and shows will take place at the Main Street Playhouse, 6812 Main St. Miami Lakes, FL 33014.
