Solmates brings together two European producers united by a shared love of melody, groove, and late-night electronic music. Stockholm-born Fahlberg has shaped his sound around deep basslines, hypnotic textures, and “Nordic Melodic” — a Scandinavian sense of atmosphere woven into contemporary house and techno. His music has landed on Diynamic, Watergate, Siamese, MoBlack, and When Stars Align, with support from Solomun, Keinemusik, Black Coffee, and Pete Tong. His tracks “Somebody” and “Chaka” have charted prominently on Beatport, alongside collaborations with Layer J, Argødes, Jeremy Olander, and an official RÜFÜS DU SOL remix. Paris- and London-based Orsay brings a classical foundation to melodic house, having studied piano from age six and trained at a conservatory. His releases on Ninja Tune, Siamese, Universal Music, and Kitsuné include “Mind Off,” “Amado,” and “Magik,” supported by Adriatique, Solomun, WhoMadeWho, Carlita, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.
