Utsav Miami 2026 Celebrating the Dance Traditions of India Dance • Food • Culture • Community Join us on September 26 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus for Utsav Miami 2026, a vibrant, family friendly celebration of Indian culture in the heart of Downtown Miami. Utsav means celebration in Hindi, and this year’s festival places the rich diversity of Indian dance at center stage. Experience the Dance Traditions of India From classical forms rooted in centuries of tradition to colorful folk, regional, and contemporary styles, India’s dance traditions tell stories of history, faith, community, celebration, and place. The centerpiece of Utsav Miami 2026 will be a live dance competition featuring performers representing dance traditions from across India. Audiences will experience the artistry, movement, costumes, music, and storytelling that make each form distinct. Our Partners The Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) The Miami DDA is an independent agency of the City of Miami funded by a special tax levy on properties within its district boundaries. The agency is governed by a 15-member board of directors, including three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, business owners, and/or residents. The board sets policy direction, which is implemented by a multi-disciplinary team under the executive director's oversight. Their mission is to grow, strengthen, and promote the economic health and vitality of Downtown Miami. As an autonomous agency of the City, the Miami DDA advocates, facilitates, plans, and executes business development, planning, capital improvements, and marketing and communication strategies. South Asian House Miaim Dade County Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB) Established on July 22nd, 1997, the Asian-American Advisory Board was created to work in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners, administration, community, and all agencies in Miami-Dade County, with respect to matters pertaining to the Asian-American community. In addition, the Board and its staff routinely assist people with their grievances and intervene with the appropriate parties to seek a resolution to issues the community faces.
