This is a Doors Open Milwaukee 2026 ticketed tour. Visitors will get a walking tour of the City of Milwaukee greenhouses followed by a hay ride to see 160 acres of trees growing for city planting. The tour will conclude with free pick-your-own flowers (sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds and more) and a free native tree and shrub give-a-way (as supplies last). Native trees for give-a-way include: persimmon, redbud, hazelnut, pecan, arrowwood, speckled alder, nannyberry, paper birch and more! Accessibility: Quarter Mile walk through greenhouses (wheelchair accessible), 1.5 mile hay ride through nursery. Donations to the City of Milwaukee Urban Forestry Fund are welcome: https://city.milwaukee.gov/dpw/operations/forestry/Urban-Forestry-Fund
