This fun and creative project is designed especially for seniors! Needle Felting, Field of Flowers- Free Senior Art Class This fun and creative project is designed especially for seniors! In this month's class we will be exploring needle felting to make a soft and colorful field of flowers. This class is excellent for beginners, and we will have everything you need to make this fun project. This class is a fun way to make friends, and get creative in a relaxed, supportive environment. This FREE class was made possible by a grant through the East Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board. This Grant enables us to bring free art classes to artists who are seniors, encouraging creativity, vitality, and community. Instructor: Surelle Strike Date and Time: Tuesday October 6th, 2:30-4:30 OR, Thursday October 1st, 2:30-4:30pm The First Thursday version of this class is held in partnership with Marine Mills Folk School (This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.) Where: Hallberg Center for the Arts, 5521 East Viking Blvd., Wyoming, MN 55092 Cost: FREE, but please consider becoming a member to support more programming like this. *Our Matinee classes are held on the main level of our building and are wheelchair accessible. * If for any reason you need to cancel your registration please call or email us, so we can open up the space for another participant .
