Salsa Baroque is a high-energy journey into the vibrant sound world of Baroque Spain and Latin America, where European elegance meets irresistible dance rhythms shaped by African and Indigenous traditions. Bursting with color, groove, and improvisatory flair, the program culminates in the American premiere of Antonio Soler’s newly reconstructed Recorder Concerto, a dazzling work that bridges Baroque virtuosity and Latin rhythmic fire. Soprano Katie Boardman joins the Bach Society for this electrifying concert. This event is part of the 2026-27 Full Season Subscription and Masterworks Subscription.
