Village Exchange FREE Book Swap

There's a world of stories out there... Come by The Village to find more. Bring a Book. Take a Book. Discover a New Story. The Village Exchange's October event will be a FREE book swap! To participate, bring books in good condition that you're ready to say goodbye to. Volunteers will inspect your items for quality and give you an Exchange Ticket with a number corresponding to the number of approved items you brought. Didn't bring books to exchange but want to participate? Attendees can purchase Participation Tickets for $3 each, which can be used to get up to 4 books! We'll be offering Blind Books for pickup in the swap. If you'd like to contribute, bring your book, wrapped with a short summary, to be placed on our Blind Book shelf. Keep in mind, this event is an exchange meant to circulate resources back into the community. Book donations are foundational to making this happen, so we urge participants to bring donations rather than pay for entry. We can only give as much as we receive. Books to bring: • physical copies (paperback & hardcover) • blind books (wrapped) • all genres • graphic novels / comic books PLEASE NOTE We will NOT accept books that are: • textbooks or encyclopedias • torn, ripped, distressed, falling apart If you wouldn't buy that quality in store, don't bring it to the swap.
