Alabama Library Expo is a free conference specifically for librarians that travels to 4 different cities across the great state of Alabama Two Powerful Voices. One Unforgettable Expo. Don't miss the 2026 Alabama Library Expo! We are excited to announce that the Alabama Library Expo tour will be held on the second full week in October at the following locations across the great state of Alabama: Tuesday, October 13, 2026: The Grounds Mobile in Mobile Wednesday, October 14, 2026: Central Alabama Community College in Prattville Thursday, October 15, 2026: Vestavia Hills Civic Center in Birmingham Friday, October 16, 2026: Cook Museum of Natural Science in Decatur ****************************************** There is NO cost for you to attend Alabama Library Expo as your fee is covered by the vendors. Additionally, you will receive 6 hours credit toward your in-service requirements. If you plan to attend, please Pre-Register for the location of your choice, then bring your printed ticket with you to the registration desk of that specific location for quick check-in! If you weren't able to Pre-Register On-Line, we also have On-Site registration each day, beginning at 8:00 am. Workshops conclude at 2:15 pm. PowerSchool‑External Credit will be handled by your LEA. Details will be discussed during the General Session. To ensure you receive PowerSchool-External Credit, please inform the PD coordinator at your local school district. Exhibits and General Session / Awards Ceremony are prior to Lunch, with the first speaker beginning at 11:30 am. Lunch is on your own from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
