An Evening with Roman Street Show #2

Venue & ticket info

They're back! After selling out TWO shows at The People's Room, Roman Street returns for another unforgettable evening of live music! Brothers Noah and Josh Thompson are the talented guitarists behind Roman Street, a Billboard and iTunes-charting instrumental band that has been called “the next generation of Jazz Fusion.” Blending Classical, Gypsy Jazz, Latin, Contemporary Jazz, and Nuevo Flamenco, these brothers create a sound that's entirely their own. What began as a brotherly jam session during their college years has grown into an internationally recognized musical act. Named after an ancient Roman street in the Alps where the brothers studied guitar, Roman Street brings together years of training, remarkable musicianship, and a shared passion for creating beautiful music. With performances at renowned venues and festivals including the St. Lucia Jazz Festival, Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival, The Hangout Music Festival, Seabreeze Jazz Festival, and Yoshi's, along with two tours through Central Europe, Roman Street has captivated audiences around the world. Their music has also received international airplay on more than 200 radio stations, including SiriusXM Watercolors. But what makes Roman Street truly special is their simplicity. No elaborate production or unnecessary frills—just two extraordinarily talented musicians, their acoustic guitars, and the kind of musical chemistry that only brothers can share. Their intricate melodies, spontaneous improvisation, and effortless connection make every performance a unique experience. And there's no better place to experience that magic than the intimate listening room atmosphere of The People's Room of Mobile. Whether you're a longtime jazz enthusiast, a guitar lover, or simply someone who appreciates incredible live music, Roman Street is a show you won't want to miss. 🎄 Looking for a Christmas gift that's a little more memorable?
