Grand Holiday Stroll 2026

Our grounds are adorned with Christmas lights and displays for all. Enjoy hot cocoa, classical carolers, and making your own keepsake craft! Make merry memories with family and friends as you explore the Grand during our Holiday Stroll, beginning Saturday, November 28th, at 5:00 p.m. Adorned lampposts light your way through the resort gates and along the main drive. Begin your stroll with hot chocolate or another festive beverage served by our Grand elves. Enjoy festive music as you follow the brick pathway around the lagoon beneath gleaming arches. Along the way, discover Santa's sleigh in a picturesque setting framed by three glistening fountains and thousands of twinkling Christmas lights. Continue beneath sprawling oaks draped in Spanish moss to the Bent Oak, one of the resort's many century-old trees. Adorned with larger-than-life illuminated ornaments and featuring a natural seat, this magical setting offers the perfect backdrop for family photos. Continue through our holiday vignettes and pause for a photo in front of the Grand Snow Globe. Visit the Spa Building for a photo with Mrs. Claus and her elves, then enjoy a s'more prepared by our elves before making your way down Gingerbread Lane for a photo with the Gingerbread Man. Cross Candy Cane Lane and enter the Main Building, where our talented pastry team has created a gingerbread village of Grand proportions. The Local Market offers fresh pastries, Christmas candies, and gourmet hot beverages to enjoy fireside in the beautifully decorated historic lobby. Step upstairs to the Lagoon Room to decorate your own Grand Hotel ornament. Then return to the Historic Grand Hall and enter an 1847-style Christmas, where carolers in traditional period attire perform classic Christmas favorites near Bayside Grill and Southern Roots from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Victorian-inspired decorations fill the hall with the timeless sights and sounds of the season. Before continuing outside, stop by the Oak and Azalea Boutique to find the perfect holiday gift or purchase a Grand Hotel gift card for someone special. Finish your stroll by crossing beneath the porte-cochère to the bayside, where our signature Grand Live Oak shines with more than 23,700 holiday lights. To the south, Fleischer Pier glows above Mobile Bay. As you make your way north along the boardwalk, relax in a resort swing and listen to the waves lap against the bulkhead, bringing your evening at the Grand to a peaceful close.
