Pumpkin Terrarium Workshop

Create a lush cloche-style terrarium inside a glass pumpkin, complete with miniature plants, moss, rocks and natural decor. Celebrate the season with a terrarium made for fall! In our Pumpkin Terrarium Workshop, you’ll create your own miniature ecosystem inside a beautiful glass pumpkin vessel. Choose between two different-sized pumpkin containers and fill yours with an assortment of miniature plants and natural elements. Plant selections will vary and may include miniature ferns, houseplants, and moss, allowing every terrarium to be a little different. To help keep your terrarium healthy and clean, we’ll keep the decor simple with natural materials like rocks, moss, and bark. Our PlantHouse crew will walk you through the entire process, including the different plants used in your terrarium, how to assemble and layer your materials, and how to care for your finished creation at home. While the pumpkin vessel is not completely sealed or self-sustaining, the lid helps retain humidity and create the moist environment these miniature plants love. We’ll teach you when to water, when to give your terrarium some fresh air, and what to look for to keep it thriving. Your ticket includes your choice of pumpkin vessel, plants, soil and all materials needed to build your terrarium. This is a seasonal workshop with limited availability, so grab your spot while our pumpkin vessels are in season! Workshop Perk: Attendees receive 20% off houseplants on the day of the workshop. The perfect excuse to take home a new plant (or two)!
