Reconnecting Mind & Body Through Mindfulness & Stress Relief 2½‑Hour Session | Open to All Cancer Survivors Cancer changes your body, your routines, your sense of safety, and often your relationship with yourself. Even after treatment ends, many survivors describe feeling disconnected — from their bodies, their emotions, and the parts of themselves that once felt steady. This free wellness workshop offers a supportive space to slow down, breathe, and gently reconnect with yourself through mindfulness and stress‑management practices designed specifically for life after cancer. Session Focus: Rest, Renewal & Compassionate Connection for Cancer Survivors This immersive second session brings together community connection, deep rest, and gentle movement to support healing after cancer treatment or while living with cancer as a chronic condition. We begin with a welcoming icebreaker to help participants feel grounded, seen, and supported. From there, we move into a restorative Salt Cave Meditation & Yoga Nidra practice, followed by a gentle yoga class designed to reconnect you with your body in a compassionate, empowering way. This experience is crafted to help you settle your nervous system, reconnect with your breath, honor your body’s cues, and cultivate a sense of inner strength and spaciousness. What You’ll Experience • A calming introduction to Yoga Nidra and its benefits • Grounding and breath‑awareness practices to settle the body and mind • Guided reflection to write your Sankalpa (heart’s deepest intention) • Restorative postures supported by props • A full Yoga Nidra meditation for deep rest and nervous‑system regulation • Gentle journaling and optional sharing • A closing message centered on hope, wellness, and ongoing self‑care • A take‑home handout with pranayama practices and a meditation script you can record and revisit anytime Who Can Attend This session is open to anyone who has completed cancer treatment or is living with cancer as a chronic condition and wants to experience deep rest, reconnect with their body, and cultivate inner calm in a supportive, peaceful environment.
