Aging Matters: Coffee & Conversations at FiftyForward LaVergne

Join us for a laid-back morning of deep chats about aging, with coffee in hand, at our cozy gathering spot. Come to FiftyForward LaVergne Senior Center to learn from our newest Aging Matters film, 'Vision for the Future'. Nashville PBS parntered with Vanderbilt Eye Institute to better understand the role our eyes play in our overall health. Today, advances in technology as well as molecular and genetic research are leading the way toward therapeutic procedures that could target eye conditions and prevent or even reverse vision loss. Discover what can be seen through the eyes, our windows to well-being. Do you have experiences to share? Join us for conversations about the film, enjoy light refreshments and learn about local resources and share with others in your community. This event is free, but space is limited. This event is made possible by West End Home Foundation.
