Damage Control: A House Show Celebration of Alternative Music in Nashville

Get to East Nashville's backyard to be moved by a medley of soul, folk, americana, pop-punk, alt-rock, and more. East Nashville's newest favorite house venue presents Alaina Fidanzo, The Sea Monks, and Mercy for an evening of connected celebration and movement in Nashville's alternative art and music scene. Raised in the artistic plethora of Portland, Oregon, Alaina Fidanzo grew up creating and performing songs fondly coined as “movement music”, taking on her first stage at just 12 years old. She explored her hometown, and soon, the interstates, as a music director and multi-instrumentalist, awed and inspired by the likes of Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and of course, Dad’s truck CDs rotating Kings of Leon and John Mayer. Now making her home in Nashville, Alaina writes sounds and stories between the listening ear, moving body, and breathing heart. “Arguably one of the hardest working bands to come out of San Diego, this family outfit, (The Sea Monks), dripping with blood chemistry, delivers a real deal blend of Rock ’n’ Roll & Rockabilly Country.” - R.J. Bloke, Bigtop Bandstand, LA Mercy is a pop-punk artist making music that blends honest songwriting with the energy of the genre. Her sound pulls from the music she loves, with a focus on real experiences and lyrics that mean something.
