Join Brandon Woelfel for a free session designed for experienced photographers. Experiment with a variety of lenses to see how focal length can dramatically change perspective, depth, and the feel of an image. Learn when and why to switch lenses and how to approach the same subject from different focal lengths. Set inside a former mechanic’s shop transformed into a creative studio in East Nashville, participants will experience the neighborhood’s raw character, artistic energy, and unmistakable creative buzz. You'll have the opportunity to shoot with Nikon Z5II, Z6III, and Z8 cameras, paired with an extensive selection of 15+ different lenses available for hands-on trial. Compare focal lengths, test specialty lenses, and discover how different optics can dramatically influence the look and feel of your photographs. Whether you're interested in portraiture, equine photography, landscapes, or visual storytelling, this workshop will help you expand your technical skills and creative vision while making the most of the character and architecture of the city. Yes! We will have a camera available for loaning for up to 35 attendees, free of charge. Will I be required to purchase a camera? No purchase is necessary for participation Do I need to own a Nikon Z50II or Nikon Z5II to attend? No, we will be providing cameras for testing and trials - free of charge for use during the event. Please note these will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Can I bring my own camera bag/backpack? For security reasons, all bags larger than a small purse/fanny pack will need to be checked in at registration.  They will be returned to you at the end of the event.  If you would like to hold onto your bag, please bring a clear backpack or fanny pack.
