SONUS: All is Calm (ECHO Chamber Music Series)

ECHO is a uniquely Nashville experience, captivating audiences with chamber music composed for the unique reverb of the Parthenon. SONUS choir returns with their yearly Nashville holiday tradition, "All is Calm". There is no better place to experience the transcendent, pure sound that SONUS creates with their a capella music than in the Parthenon's unique acoustics. SONUS will fill the room with gorgeous reimaginings of traditional Christmas music, along with deeply moving pieces by today's most innovative and inspiring composers, such as Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, Lucy Walker, John Tavener, Katerina Gimon, as well as SONUS choir's own award-winning Composer-in-Residence and Director, Timbre Cierpke. On this special night, you will share moments of both joy and peace in Nashville's most unique setting. You won’t want to miss this Nashville holiday tradition! This event is hosted by Centennial Park Conservancy. All ticket sales benefit Centennial Park and the Parthenon. Doors open at 7:00pm.
