Jake Carter is a multi-instrumentalist, singer & songwriter, playing traditional blues guitar and harmonica with hip-hop, trap and bounce. Jake Carter is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer from Red Hook, New York, who studied at Berklee College of Music before spending three years producing in Atlanta and ultimately planting roots in Jackson, Mississippi. His music blends traditional blues guitar and harmonica with hip-hop, trap, and bounce beats, placing him at the leading edge of the Southern Soul and Chitin scene. He recently released Doing Me, an EP anchored by the breakout track "Can't Get Right," and performs everywhere from Southern juke joints and trail rides to major blues festivals and national arenas.
