1 in 10 will experience a seizure—learn how to respond and keep others safe at our Seizure First Aid and Safety Training! When: Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 3:00pm-4:00pm Where: 219 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70112 Parking: only on-street metered parking available! Hosted by Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana, this free Seizure First Aid and Safety Training will prepare you to help someone in need! Seizure First Aid & Safety is designed to teach the general public basic information about epilepsy. The program identifies and describes the most common types of seizures and dispels many common myths associated with epilepsy. Attendees will learn how to recognize seizures and provide appropriate seizure first aid. For more information, contact [email protected] or call 225-298-5499.
