Thursday Evening Woodworking 101: An Introduction to Tablemaking (February)

At the end of the 6 weeks you will leave with a wealth of woodworking knowledge and a beautiful handmade table. This workshop takes place every Thursday for 8 consecutive weeks. This is a beginner workshop. No woodworking experience required. **If you are interested in building a table with someone, couples tickets are available. Each couple makes one table. She is passionate about teaching woodworking and creating a space for makers to learn and create. Carrie owns Community Workshop NOLA, a community makerspace located in the Bywater, as well as works part time with two nonprofits, Dykes With Drills and 1881 Institute to teach people woodworking skills.
