Wavering + Stargazer & the Lilies: A Multichannel Electroacoustic Immersion

Join us for a night of intricate electroacoustic songs & soundscapes, rendered in immersive multichannel surround sound & projection art! Wavering and Stargazer & the Lilies return to Marigny Opera House for a multichannel electroacoustic immersion. Following their May performance, the artists reunite with new music and an expanded sonic experience. Performing in the center of the space, they surround the audience with multichannel sound and projections across the ceiling. The evening features Wavering and Stargazer & the Lilies, the project of Bryan Webre and Jonny Campos. Join 2 of New Orleans’ most adventurous acts for a night of intricate electroacoustic songs & soundscapes, rendered in immersive multichannel surround sound. Wavering is a 3-piece DIY songwriting and sound exploration project based in Bulbancha/New Orleans. We play genre-fluid Original Music rooted in collaborative improvisation, trust, and having a good time. We draw inspiration from the sounds and adventurous creative spirits of pioneers like Kate Bush, Big Thief & Björk, as well as from our city’s rich legacy of improvised music. Stargazer & the Lilies features New Orleans musicians Bryan Webre and Jonny Campos. Their live performances range from sparse to worldbuilding. Weaving delicate melodies around shimmering beds and electronic beats, these performances play like a cosmic opera – stars dying and being reborn in a series of reverberating tape loops. For fans of Laraaji, Alice Coltrane, Stereolab, and Cluster. Thuesday, Dec 22, 2026 Performance at 7:30PM Suggested Donation: $25 - General Admission // $15 - Student, senior, etc. None turned away for lack of funds, no pressure
