11月14日｜共读《昨日的世界》 88年前的11月9日——水晶之夜，纳粹党人对犹太人及其社区的全国性暴力。而茨威格的书，早在1933年的焚书中就已经被投入火焰。 “但我并不抱怨；失去家园恰恰意味着在某种新意义上自由，也只有与一切再无羁绊的人才能不带着任何包袱。因此我希望至少能够满足每一部正直诚恳的时代记述的一个主要条件：真诚与无拘。” 于是，茨威格写下《昨日的世界》。 本书中译本长度为27万字，预计阅读时间10-12小时。 关于「Parenthesis 留白」读书会： 2023年9月始于上西区的一间客厅，迄今为止已经举办了一百多场读书活动。活动的主题多为经典文学、历史、哲学、人类学等。 共读活动的形式为文本共读+线下活动讨论，从活动书单发布到讨论约1-2个月的时间。为了尊重每位参与者的时间、保证讨论的质量，参与者需要在这段时间内完成阅读任务。 我们包容鼓励多样性的表达、对文本新的阐释，期待在观点的交织中彼此启迪，也带着收获回到书外的世界。
