2026 Emergency Nurses Awards and ED RN Fellowship Graduation

In harmony with the Emergency Nurses Week, Mount Sinai Health System will host the Emergency Nursing Awards and the ED RN Fellowship Graduation on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Nominations have closed - awardees will be announced in mid-September. Emergency Nursing New Team Member of the Year: Open to any employee who reports to emergency nursing: the recipient for this category has 24 months or less experience working in the Emergency Department and consistently displays confidence and initiative in clinical care and contributing to the team’s success. Emergency Nursing Mentor of the Year: Open to any employee who reports to emergency nursing: The recipient for this category serves as a resource and mentor for Emergency Department team members and new hires by sharing knowledge and skills. Emergency Nursing Patient Experience Award: Open to any employee who reports to emergency nursing: The recipient for this category demonstrates excellence in patient experience, through teamwork and compassion. Emergency Nursing Innovation Award: Open to an individual or team of employees who report to emergency nursing: an individual or team who have led and advocated for innovative technology initiatives in the Emergency Department leveraging continuous improvement and creative solutions. Emergency Department Clinical Nurse of the Year: Open to any emergency RN: the recipient for this category is an emergency nurse who adheres to nursing standards of practice, consistently demonstrates exceptional patient care and professionalism. Emergency Department Nurse Leader of the Year: Open to any emergency RN: the recipient for this category is an emergency nurse leader of any level (Clinical RN, Charge RN, SCN, ANM, NM) who demonstrates excellent leadership skills, adaptability, and fostering teamwork. Awardees and graduates, and their families will be invited to the ceremony. Cohorts 11, 12, and 13 of the ED RN Fellowship will be celebrated.
