2026 NYSCHECK Children’s Environmental Health Day

Join the New York State Children’s Environmental Health Centers (NYSCHECK) for a hybrid celebration of Children’s Environmental Health Day taking place on Thursday, October 8, 2026. The NYSCHECK Youth Symposium on Climate and Environmental Justice will take place on Wednesday, October 7, from 4:00–6:00 PM virtually via Zoom, featuring students and youth leaders from across New York State sharing community-based projects and ideas addressing climate change, environmental health, and environmental justice. The NYSCHECK Children’s Environmental Health Day celebration will take place on Thursday, October 8, from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM at Hatch Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, 1468 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10029. The event will bring together health professionals, students, youth leaders, community partners, and advocates and will feature Pediatric Grand Rounds, environmental health presentations, an awards ceremony recognizing champions of children’s environmental health, informal networking, lunch, and walking tours.
