Active Learning Health Care Systems: Clinical Preparedness for Older Adults during Adverse Weather

Climate readiness is no longer just a public health policy issue—it is a frontline clinical necessity. Now in its 7th installment, this CME conference series is organized by the Mount Sinai Institute for Exposomic Research with support from ConduITS, the Clinical & Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program for the Mount Sinai Health System. This year marks a critical milestone as our first iteration organized in partnership with the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, exclusively dedicated to addressing the clinical care gaps for a highly vulnerable patient population: older adults. Our mission is to equip clinicians across specialties with actionable strategies to integrate climate preparedness directly into routine care.
