We will visit Gagosian Gallery to see its comprehensive survey of the minimalist paintings by Brice Marden whose 2006 MoMA retrospective was extremely popular. Then we’ll explore David Zwirner for Thomas Ruff, a series built from photographs of the World Trade Center attacks. Marking the twenty-fifth anniversary of 9/11, Ruff's exhibition uses pixelated, low-resolution images to explore how digital media shapes our collective memory of the tragedy. We feel this show will be touching for those who feel so connected to the City. 6:30PM: We will experience the Arte Museum’s digital performance of works from Paris’ Musée d'Orsay to provide a visually stunning and unforgettable conclusion to our evening.Visit us at www.artsmart.com and www.orabytangni.com
