Ăn Quà - A Fall Gathering With Nam Breakfast Club & Casa Juliette

Hi friends, it’s Julie and Nam! We’re teaming up for a cozy fall gathering we’re calling Ăn Quà, with Vietnamese food, drinks and desserts inspired by the season. In Vietnam , ăn quà or ăn vặt means going out for a little something delicious, whether that’s a bowl of noodles, a pastry, or a cup of chè from a street vendor. It’s about the simple pleasure of eating something just because you feel like it. We hope you’ll come ăn quà with us! Nam Breakfast Club will be serving Hanoi-style Chicken Phở with plenty of lime leaf. For drinks, choose between classic Vietnamese coffee and Citrus oolong tea. Julie is making two desserts: Hojicha & Red Plum Choux - A crisp craquelin choux filled with Japanese hojicha cream and rosemary infused red plum compote, then topped with more cream, fresh plum, and rosemary. Lemon Lime Posset - A silky dessert made with cream, lemon, and Madagascar vanilla bean, finished with lime zest. Come for the food and make a few new friends along the way!
