CAD Trust and CDOP member workshop on data standardization

This joint workshop, open to members of CAD Trust governance bodies and CDOP, introduces recent joint work between the CDOP co-chairs and the CAD Trust Secretariat to compare the two data schemas and explore potential pathways to integration for a future joint data standard. Aims: Dive into our learnings from the joint schema comparison exercise across several topic areas and seek your feedback. Talk about progress towards delivering data standardization as public infrastructure, including live and forthcoming applications of the CAD Trust data schema, advances made by the CDOP schema, and identify outstanding gaps or questions left unresolved by current standardization efforts. Discuss data sources and availability for a reality check on easy wins, barriers, and next steps. Share learnings from CAD Trust’s multi-stakeholder governance and CDOP’s consultation and governance framework. Discuss latest thinking on collaboration. Discuss further opportunities to work together. We hope you will join us for this practical session to advance data standardization work for connected and effective carbon markets. Logistics: The event is open to representatives of the member organisations of CDOP, the CAD Trust Council, User Forum, and Technical Committee (max. 2 people per org). It will be held on the sidelines of IETA's North America Climate Summit (NACS). No conference registration is needed.
