Join David DeJesus and the Boptet as they celebrate the life and music of the incredible Charlie Parker. The Boptet consists of world class musicians (Brandon Lee on trumpet, Donald Vega on piano, Ricardo Rodriguez on bass, David Alvarez on drums) led by saxophonist, bandleader, and educator David DeJesus. The Boptet will be performing selections from their brand new record - Lovebird - featuring new arrangements of Charlie Parkers music and original compositions inspired by the great Charlie Parker. Come out and learn about Birdlands namesake with David DeJesus and the Boptet, you wont want to miss it!
