Field Notes 06: John Coltrane Centennial

Field Notes 06 is our sixth installment of a vinyl listening series led by industry selectors and their approach to record curation. The listening session will run approximately 60 minutes. Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the 100th birthday of John Coltrane—an artist who redefined the boundaries of jazz, spirituality, and beyond. Expect a curated journey through his most iconic recordings with historical anecdotes for deep listening context. Taddeo is a Brooklyn based private collector, selector, and jazz devotee. He hosts monthly residences at Silence Please & Ants Coffee. Tickets are limited as the program will be intimate. Car Part Time members will receive a code for complimentary tickets. Doors close promptly at 7:00 PM and the listening session will begin immediately. Out of respect for the experience and fellow guests, we ask that conversation be kept to a minimum during the listening portion of the program. Following the session, the space will open up for conversation and connection as guests are invited to explore a selection of themed cars, spend time throughout the showroom and garage, and enjoy the atmosphere while the selector continues spinning into the evening.Beer and a natural wine selection will be available for purchase.
