LIFERS

A night out at a concert by the cult-rock band LOCAL H with a performance by Local H Member/Director Scott Lucas and Q&A after the film Written, directed and edited by the band’s singer/guitarist Scott Lucas (and shot in real time during a blistering performance at venerable Chicago music venue the Metro), LIFERS is not quite a documentary -- and not just a concert film-- but those elements are blended with a fractured narrative to create something that's like a cross between Led Zeppelin's THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME and Richard Linklater's SLACKER. 82 mins All proceeds support WFMU WFMU Radio’s Monty Hall, located at 43 Montgomery Street in downtown Jersey City (mere steps from the Exchange Place PATH station). Monty Hall is ADA-friendly with wheel chair ramps, accessible restrooms, seating on request, and advance arrangements for assistive services. Our volunteers are always on hand to assist and make your experience welcoming.
