This private roundtable, organized by E3G and The Asia Group on the margins of New York Climate Week and UNGA, will examine Australia’s shift toward clean electrification and lessons for the broader Indo-Pacific region. The discussion will explore the regulatory reforms, fiscal incentives, private sector investment strategies, and wider enabling conditions that have supported the transition, including the role of de-risking instruments to mobilize private capital. This 90 minute discussion will bring together senior policymakers, investors, corporates, development institutions and sector experts to look at what governments and financial institutions can do to turn renewable energy and electrification ambitions into investable projects.
