Celebrate New York Irish Center's 22nd anniversary at our annual benefit! The evening begins with an intimate cocktail reception, followed by dinner and entertainment. Beyond this elegant event, your ticket will support a New York City cultural institution of 22 years and counting. A trusted and welcoming community hub in western Queens since 2005, NYIC is rooted in Long Island City and serves people across New York City, reaching an average of 14,000+ community members annually. At the heart of NYIC’s work is community, culture, care, and connection. NYIC currently provides 400+ robust social care and social service programs, and 3,000 lunch meals annually for older adults and the elderly, who are majority immigrants from Ireland and other countries. NYIC currently presents 200+ cultural programs annually, including 140+ music, language, and dance classes. Our extensive lineup of events runs the gambit of concerts, theatre, film screenings, literary events, festivals, community gatherings, and beyond. Today, NYIC also welcomes 40+ diverse cultural and community organizations, most of which are based in western Queens, in which we provide access to our expansive facility free or at low-cost for their multicultural and social services program activities that are either self-presented or presented in collaboration with NYIC.
