Palette Cleanser: Mosaic

Mosaic is an ancient art form that covered walls, floors and entire rooms in colored tile, building compositions that have outlasted the buildings they were made for. Every piece on the table carries a little of that history into your hands. In front of you: trays of hand-picked tile, glass, mirror, stone and ornament, sorted by color. You’re invited to make a mosaic tray, sip tea, and set piece after piece into your board - one to use at home, or to gift to loved one. Tea provided from Anima Mundi, our neighbors here in Greenpoint. We've chosen blends for the way they shift attention and open up creativity: tulsi and gotu kola for clarity, cacao and blue lotus for a softer, more wandering focus. We’re making, practicing, relaxing, working the creative muscle. One creative decision feeds the next, and that habit follows you out the door and into everything else you make. No experience needed.
