Akash has spent his career at the intersection of AI, biology, and pathology. His research has included developing explainable AI systems for challenging breast cancer diagnoses and studying why even trained pathologists can sometimes interpret the same tissue differently. Today, he works on AI-driven biological data platforms designed to help researchers make sense of increasingly complex biomedical data. We'll explore questions like: What does AI actually "see" when it looks at cancer? Can a machine recognize patterns a doctor might miss?
