Philosophy at the Museum: The Whitney — Modern and Contemporary American Art

This will be our first-ever tour outside The Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as our first tour dedicated to modern and contemporary art. This time, we’ll be heading to the Whitney Museum of American Art to explore American art of the 20th century and beyond. The program will include three 30-minute conversations, with participants divided into groups of 3–4 for each session. Through structured prompts and brief introductions before each conversation, participants will be invited to engage with the artworks through philosophical reflection and personal interpretation.
