In this interactive workshop, founders will present their pitch, receive direct feedback, and immediately refine it live. This is a hands-on pitch masterclass where builders learn by doing, and by watching other founders sharpen their story. For founders, few people have a better perspective on how to communicate complex technology simply and convincingly. In this session, Anthony and Anna will work directly with founders in a live pitch lab, helping them sharpen their narrative and strengthen how they present their ideas. Anthony RoseAnthony Rose is a pioneering technology entrepreneur best known as the co-creator and former CTO of the BBC iPlayer, one of the world's first large-scale streaming platforms that fundamentally changed how millions consume television. He has spent decades building technology at the intersection of consumer platforms, developer ecosystems, and emerging tech. His experience spans founding companies, leading engineering teams, and scaling global products. Nate HinmanNate Hinman is Senior Director at Plug and Play Tech Center. He works closely with startups, corporate partners, and investors to identify promising companies, accelerate growth, and create opportunities for founders to connect with some of the world’s leading organizations. With extensive experience across Plug and Play’s enterprise technology and AI ecosystem, Nate has seen hundreds of startups present, position, and refine their businesses. At this Pitch Masterclass, he will share an investor and accelerator perspective on what makes a pitch stand out, common mistakes founders make, and how to communicate a startup’s story with greater clarity and impact. Workshop Format: Live Pitch Master Class 4–5 selected founders will pitch their startup and iterate live with Anthony. Each founder will go through the following format: • 5-minute pitch• 5 minutes of feedback• 2-minute revised pitch incorporating feedback Watching this process unfold live helps everyone in the room see how small narrative adjustments can dramatically improve clarity, persuasion, and impact.
