About this event
Wendy Gittler presents "Tempis Fugit," a collection of paintings, drawings, and collages that explore the concept of time and its visual representations.
Full description from organizerShow less
"In the world of painting, images and signs that evoke the passage of time have been both manifold and elusive. Over the years, I have been drawn to the nature of fleeing time in search of its visual equivalents. Consequently, I feel I am never finished with a painting and continue to restart on the same surface watching the imagery and surrounding space mutate in ways I had not envisioned. Thus these paintings, drawings and collages grapple with different time spans that coalesce with one another and form a new interaction." – Wendy Gittler
