Do it as an ITT (Individual Time Trial) bikepacking event* or a multi-day relaxed bike-camping adventure. It is 66% gravel with 21, 845 ft of elevation. This 300-mile gravel adventure can be broken down into several days of overnight camping or grind it out in a single ITT effort*. Several POI (Points of Interest) campgrounds are marked along the route, and provided with route instructions. For those doing it as a several-day bike-packing adventure get your camping gear packed, and get ready for a fun, gravel road-focused 300-mile camping adventure! The ride starts at a tasty spot in the countryside and proceeds to campground locations along the route. Grocery/convenience stores are marked POI to replenish cooking supplies along the route before upcoming campgrounds. The best idea is to plan carefully what to cook in the evening. If it is a perishable item, keep in mind food safety. If possible, pack in ice and shade it on your rig. There are also a couple of tasty stops along the way marked POIs, but just a couple. That's it. PLAN AHEAD because resupply spots are sparse along the route. Take note of food/resupply points of interest (POI). Campground POIs are also marked on the smart-guided route. This cycling adventure will take you through scenic mid-Ohio countryside, towns, and on the fringe of Amish communities.
