Fall Choral Concert

Presented by the Music Department Join the Saddleback College Chamber Singers and Emeritus Chorale for an evening of choral music spanning more than 500 years. The program features works by Renaissance masters Palestrina and Handl alongside music by Emma Lou Diemer, Reginal Wright, Susan LaBarr, and others. From familiar American folk songs to contemporary choral works, the concert explores the many ways composers have brought poetry and music to life. Both ensembles join forces to open the evening with Haydn’s Awake the Harp and conclude with Aaron Copland’s The Promise of Living, a fitting celebration of music, hope, and community.
