Full description from organizerShow less
Come join us for a fun and informative workshop all about some of our favorite fermented vegetables, led by Wes and Paula of Mad Stanky. Wes and Paula of Mad Stanky Fermented Vegetables will discuss the health benefits of fermenting vegetables and demonstrate how to do so safely at home. Participants will get some hands on experience as well as a sampling of several types of locally made kimchi and sauerkraut. This is the first of a monthly fermentation series. Please be mindful that events often require a waitlist. We ask that you contact the library (405-354-8232) if you are no longer able to attend. That will allow us to prepare the correct amount of materials, as well as pass spots along.
