October's Pick: We're reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho — a timeless, poetic fable about a shepherd boy who leaves everything familiar behind to chase a recurring dream of treasure, and discovers along the way that the real treasure was the journey of self-discovery itself. This book invites us to examine the fears and comforts that keep us from pursuing our own "Personal Legend," and to reconnect with the intuition, omens, and quiet nudges that guide us toward who we're meant to become. Through simple, soulful storytelling, The Alchemist reminds us that the universe conspires in favor of those brave enough to listen and act.
