Skills to Start: Omaha

Join us at our upcoming Skills to Start Event on Wednesday, October 7 at the Red Wing Shoe Store in Omaha. This free, hands-on, community-driven event is designed to spark curiosity and confidence in the trades. Attendees will: Hear directly from local trades professionals about their career journeys Connect with training programs, trade schools, and community organizations Explore real opportunities in a supportive, welcoming environment Take home free gear (during our raffle) and practical tips to help them take their next Learn more about our RW Trades Scholarship Free food and beverages are provided Our goal is to inspire youth and parents to see the skilled trades as a proud, rewarding career path. This event if for students, ages 16-24, to explore the many opportunities available in the skilled trades. This is a panel event and begins at 6 pm.
