A two-day class teaches students to create durable end-grain cutting boards with a 3-D tumbling block pattern using various tools and techniques, with sessions scheduled for November 14–15, November 30–December 7, and December 2–3.

Create your very own end-grain cutting board with a 3-D tumbling block pattern! Come and make a one of a kind 3D end grain cutting board. This is a 2 day class in which students will use a variety of tools and learn new techniques to make a beautiful cutting board. End grain cutting boards, aside from looking beautiful, have a characteristic that they are much more durable than their side-grain counter part. The first day will end with the students having the boards clamped up and ready for sanding and finishing the next day. The project involves 3 seperate glue-ups, so due to time constraints, the first 2 glue-ups will be done ahead of time. This cutting board would make a beautiful center piece to your upcoming Holiday dinners or make a perfect gift for that special someone. Dates and Times: • 11/14 class meets on Saturday 11/14 from 9:30am to 2:30pm and Sunday 11/15, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. • 11/30 class meets on Mondays 11/30 and 12/7 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM both dayds. • 12/2 class meets on Saturday 12/2 from 9:30am to 2:30pm and Sunday 12/3, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
