Justin BUA - THE BOOK OF HIP HOP

Book release, meet & greet, and celebration of BUA's new book, THE BOOK OF HIP HOP. Hosted by Russell Peters. Overspray Art Supply & Gallery presents a special Thanksgiving weekend celebration of Hip-Hop, art, and culture featuring legendary artist Justin Bua. Bua created an entirely new genre of art by combining classical fine-art disciplines with Hip-Hop as his subject, bringing the culture from the streets into the gallery world. His iconic painting The DJ has sold more than 16 million prints, making it one of the most recognized images in contemporary Hip-Hop art. Join us Saturday, November 28, at The Historical Cathedral in Pomona, the city’s newest event space, to celebrate Bua’s life and body of work featured in The Book of Hip Hop — The Justin Bua Version. Hosted by comedian, DJ, and Hip-Hop personality Russell Peters, with special guest MCs and DJs. General admission is FREE! Paid tickets include a copy of the book and an exclusive meet-and-greet with Justin Bua.
