Join Julie Carter for a workshop where you will learn the art of flower pounding on provided tea towels and tote bags utilizing local flora Come explore the ancient art of Flower Pounding with Julie Carter of Buffalo Makers Hub. Flower pounding is a beautiful way to make botanical prints on fabric. With a little pounding, pigment from the flowers transfers easily to the fabric and we are left with a colorful and beautiful textile. You will have the option to make a tea towel and/or market bag and all materials will be provided. No particular skills are required which is also why this Textile Tuesday workshop will feel so satisfying!
