Join us on Thursday, October 8th from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM for a special Natal Plum Bonsai Workshop at Forward/Slash! This month, we’re working with the Natal Plum — a beautiful tropical species with glossy green foliage, fragrant white flowers, and the potential to produce striking red fruit. Its compact growth and branching make it an awesome tree to shape and develop as a bonsai. No bonsai experience is needed! During this two-hour, hands-on workshop, our Bonsai & Cheers instructor will guide you through the entire process of creating your own bonsai. You’ll learn the basics of pruning, styling, wiring, repotting, and how to properly care for your Natal Plum after class. Your ticket includes: • Your own Natal Plum tree • Bonsai pot • Bonsai soil and training wire • Take-home bonsai shears • 2 drinks from Forward/Slash • Two hours of hands-on instruction • Your finished Natal Plum Bonsai to take home This isn't a demonstration — you’ll be building and styling the tree yourself.
