This October 31, Wild Heart Haven and Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company are bringing Halloween to Ivanhoe Village with Hops & Hounds, a free Halloween celebration for dogs, their humans, and anyone looking for a different way to spend Halloween afternoon, before going trick or treating in the evening. Bring your friends. Bring your dog. Bring your costume. We're building an afternoon filled with things to discover: 🐾 Dog & Human Costume Contest — Enter From Anywhere From hilarious to elaborate to completely ridiculous, dogs and their humans can compete for prizes and Halloween glory, whether they're joining us at Ivanhoe Village or entering from somewhere else entirely. Costume entries and judging will take place digitally, so no traditional dog lineup is required. 🐾 The Hound Hunt Explore Hops & Hounds, complete stops around the event, and see where the hunt takes you. 🍺 Flight of the Four Hounds Four pours. Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company puts the Hops in Hops & Hounds with a special four-beer flight created for this event. 🧠 Halloween Trivia + Prizes Put your spooky knowledge to the test. 📸 Halloween Photo Experiences Because some costumes deserve photographic evidence. 🍬 Trick-or-Treat Fun Halloween surprises and dog-friendly fun throughout the afternoon. 🐕 Meet the Dogs Meet dogs in person and discover even more looking for homes through Wild Heart's Digital Adoption Center. 🛍️ Local Vendors & Community Partners Discover local businesses, makers, rescue organizations and organizations from around Central Florida. 🍴 Food + Drinks Food will be available for purchase along with Ivanhoe's lineup of craft beer and beverages. And we're not finished yet. Stay for the dogs. 🎭Enter the Hops & Hounds Costume Contest Dress. Strut. Howl. Register your dog, yourself, or your duo for a chance to take home one of the Hops & Hounds Costume Contest awards. From hilarious to elaborate to completely ridiculous, dogs and their humans will compete across multiple categories for prizes and Halloween glory. Want in? Register your costume entry here. Contest judging begins at 4:00 PM. All entries must complete check-in and official contest photography by 3:30 PM. Your dog doesn't have to stay all afternoon. We want Hops & Hounds to be fun for dogs, too. Registered Costume Contest participants will have their contest photos, and, when appropriate, short video, captured during event check-in. Once your dog's contest entry has been recorded, you're welcome to enjoy the event for as long as your dog is comfortable. Costume Contest judging begins at 4:00 PM, with awards following. If you and your dog have already left, that's okay. We'll contact winners using the phone number and email provided during registration.
