Back to School Maker Meet Up: Paper Flowers

Kick off the school year with a little time to make, connect, and unwind. Join us for a relaxed Maker Meet-Up where we’ll gather with fellow educators and creatives to explore the art of making colorful paper flowers. This isn’t a formal workshop or a race to finish a perfect project—it’s an invitation to slow down, play with materials, swap ideas, and enjoy making in community. We’ll experiment with colorful tissue paper and simple paper-flower techniques that you can use to create decorations for your classroom, brighten up your home or workspace, or adapt into a creative activity with children. Come with a specific project in mind or simply show up ready to explore. You’ll have time to make alongside others, chat, share ideas, and ease into the new school year with your hands busy and your brain off-duty for a bit. Materials will be provided, along with light appetizers to enjoy while we make. No previous paper-flower or crafting experience is necessary.
